Implicit Bias

While the phrase ‘implicit bias’ may have negative connotations, it’s important to remember that everyone carries bias with them. Over time, certain biases become ingrained within us, and that’s completely normal. Awareness of, and a willingness to overcome, that learned bias is what truly matters.

This training will teach you what implicit bias actually is; why we all have implicit biases, and how to deal with implicit bias in the workplace.

Course objectives:
– Understand what implicit bias is and why everyone has it
– Learn to recognize how it may influence our decisions and affect the workplace
– Identify strategies and solutions to reduce its influence

This course takes about 40 minutes to complete.
