About TMC

Bill joined TMC as President and CEO in 2005. Bill worked with Motorola for over 20 years in technology and business development, prior to joining TMC. Bill has been a technical educator for his entire professional career. He is committed to providing the best compliance experience and support for our clients. He works tirelessly to make sure our team is constantly ahead of new developments and ensuring that the trust our clients have in TMC is our foundation. Debra has a BS in Biology from Erskine University and 2 years of postgraduate work in Genetics Biology at the University of South Carolina. Debra is a specialist with OSHA and HIPAA issues and citations, and assists our clients with resolving their most difficult matters.

Before coming to work for TMC, Jo was most recently employed by a large hospital-based physician group as a practice manager for a large internal medicine group for seven years. Her experience in practice management includes a psychiatric/psychology group, a chiropractic group, and an orthopaedic group. Before practice management, she worked for the American Academy of Physician Assistants as the CME Coordinator in Virginia while her husband was stationed in the US Army.

Diane Eaton has a BA from George Mason University and has experience in the Washington, DC area in broadcasting and legal offices. She has enjoyed working with our clients as part of the Client Services Support Team since 2008.

Jim brings over 30 years of accounting and financial management to TMC.  He is a graduate of Towson University in Towson, MD and has been involved in many industries throughout his career. He specializes in financial and business growth of these companies.  He recently relocated back to Charlotte and has joined our team.

Susan brings over thirty years of experience as a Registered Nurse to TMC. Her experience includes providing direct patient care in a hospital setting and most recently as an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Director.  During her tenure in the ASC arena, Susan was responsible for providing continuing education to staff and physicians in the areas of infection control, risk management, and safety issues. She understands this education is an integral part of delivering excellent patient care in a safe environment.

Tanner joined Total Medical Compliance in 2016 as part of our Client Services Team. After years of experience working with our client’s day-to-day compliance needs, he transitioned to a TMC Consultant. He has an Associate’s Degree in Business Management.

Pam Wilson has more than 25 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. Because of her work providing direct patient care and functioning as the Safety Officer in physician practices, she is the ideal candidate for delivery of employee training on bloodborne pathogens, hazard communications, and other safety issues inherent in the small physician or dental practice. Pam joined TMC in 2001 and is consistently involved in the delivery of over 100 employee safety trainings each year.  She has successfully completed the OTI511 course, Occupational and Health Standards for General Industry. Pam is also trained in Dale Carnegie’s High Impact Presentations.

Nancy has over 30 years experience as a Registered Nurse working in health care settings. Hospital, home health, and surgical environment providing direct patient care. Nancy is the ideal candidate for delivery of training on bloodborne pathogens, hazard communications, and infection control in medical and dental practices. Nancy joined TMC in 2011 as a consultant. Prior to joining TMC, she worked in a Surgical Care Unit as a charge nurse and providing patient care. She has the knowledge and hands-on experience to understand the importance of employee safety, bloodborne patient and infection control in the healthcare setting.

Renee has been with Total Medical Compliance since 2016 and has been an OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control Consultant since 2008, serving both dental and medical environment.  Renee has also served nationwide as a Speaker on OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control.

Renee has over 30 years’ experience in dental practices delivering care as both a dental assistant and as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Renee served as the OSHA & HIPAA Compliance Officer in the practices that she served. She graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2006. Renee was honored as South Carolina’s Dental Hygienist of the Year for 2010. In 2023, she achieved becoming Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control (CDIPC) from the Dental Assisting National Board and the Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention. This accomplishment demonstrates her commitment to staying at the forefront of infection control practices and compliance standards in the dental field. She is an active member of the South Carolina Dental Hygiene Association, the American Dental Hygiene Association, and The Organization for Safety and Asepsis Procedures. Renee has been selected as a Hu-Friedy Key Opinion Leader.

Renee lives in Alcolu, SC with her husband and two children.   Renee also has several pets and enjoys spending time with her family and at the beach with her toes in the sand!

Abigail has joined TMC as a Compliance Specialist. She obtained her Master’s in Occupational Safety from East Carolina University and has worked in the safety and compliance industry since 2016. The roots for her passion for safety and compliance run deep and her family called her their “safety officer” from a young age. When she’s not hard at work, she’s spending time with her husband and their two daughters (trying to keep them safe).

Cheryl has joined TMC as the Director of Marketing. She earned her Master’s in Digital Marketing and Data Analytics from Emerson College in 2021. She has over 10 years’ experience working in healthcare in various marketing and editorial roles. She manages our social media presence and email marketing along with the TMC website.

Ana has close to 30 years of experience in the dental field.  She began her career in High School as a Red Cross Volunteer and began shadowing at a military base clinic where she was first introduced to dentistry and knew it would be rewarding.  She worked as a dental assistant in various states, receiving her dental hygiene license in 1991 at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and then moved to the Charlotte area in 1997 where she worked for a dental provider for over 23 years.  She is now happy to be working for TMC where she can use her dental expertise and people skills to their fullest.

Nancy Ware, CHC, is a seasoned HIPAA Senior Compliance Specialist with over 20 years of experience in healthcare compliance and privacy regulations. Nancy has worked with both Covered Entities and Business Associates and is well versed on the requirements each must follow. She has started compliance programs from the ground up and revamped existing programs.  With a deep understanding of the ever-evolving healthcare landscape, she is dedicated to helping organizations navigate the complex realm of HIPAA and ensure they meet the highest privacy and security standards.  Nancy stays up to date with the latest developments and amendments in HIPAA regulations, ensuring that our clients are well-informed about any changes that may have an impact on their operations.

By working closely with our clients, Nancy strives to foster a culture of privacy and security within their organizations, all while ensuring compliance with HIPAA’s Privacy Rule, Security Rule, Breach Notification Rule, and other relevant requirements.

In her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, preferably at the beach.  She is an avid hockey fan and has been waiting a long time to see the NY Rangers bring home another Stanley Cup!

Jennifer Sites dedicated over two decades to the dental industry, establishing herself as a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience. Jennifer worked in pediatric dentistry, later transitioning into the realm of general dentistry. Throughout her career, she gained proficiency in all facets of a dental office, proving her versatility and adaptability. As a chair side assistant, she possessed expertise in instrument processing, ensuring the smooth flow of dental operations. Jennifer’s competence extended to radiology procedures, where she adeptly handled diagnostic imaging for accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

Beyond her clinical contributions, Jennifer has guided dental practices in adhering to essential regulatory processes. She possesses in-depth knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA guidelines, guaranteeing the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and compliance within the office environment. Jennifer also served as a clinical and operations manager, where she skillfully balanced the financial constraints and operational efficiency required to run a successful dental practice.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys the company of her family, immersing herself in the great outdoors. With an impressive career spanning more than two decades, TMC could not be more excited to welcome our newest consultant, Jennifer Sites, to the team.

Dana Pate is a highly experienced dental professional with over 29 years of clinical expertise and compliance training. She embarked on her dental journey in 1994 and obtained her Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification, laying the foundation for her successful career. Dana pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in leadership from the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina in 2018.

In 2023, Dana achieved the certification of Certified Dental Infection Prevention Coordinator (CDIPC) from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and the Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention (OSAP). This accomplishment demonstrates her commitment to staying at the forefront of infection control practices and compliance standards in the dental field. Dana’s genuine passion for compliance and infection control lends well to Total Medical Compliance’s goals and she is committed to the highest level of safety and adherence to regulations.

Beyond her work, Dana is a compassionate individual who believes in giving back to the community. She has participated in mission trips to Belize and Haiti, providing essential dental care to underserved populations. These experiences allow her to share her passion and knowledge while making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.

Dana lives in Pikeville, North Carolina, with her loving husband and blended family consisting of five children and three grandsons. In her downtime, she can often be found playing with her grandsons or enjoying quality time with her husband at Kerr Lake. As an avid wakeboarder and water-skier, Dana loves the water.

With her exceptional clinical expertise, dedication to compliance and infection control, and genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, Dana embodies the qualities of a true asset to our team.

Brian Fay is TMC’s Manager of Online Services. With experience spanning more than 16 years, he is a seasoned authority with Learning Management Systems (LMS), consistently delivering exceptional support and spearheading successful implementations. Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University. He has worked in a variety of fields during his LMS career, including pharmaceuticals, education, and medicine.

In addition to his work with LMS, Brian has also been a dedicated EMT since 2005, demonstrating his commitment to public service and helping those in need.

Brian resides in Rockaway, NJ, where he and his wife live with their three rescue kittens.

With over 18 years of experience, Mary Elizabeth Andreyev has demonstrated expertise in the dental field. She worked as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), OSHA Compliance Officer, and Lab Technician within multi-Doctor practices. Her professional path displays her dedication to quality and compliance and an enthusiasm for ensuring best practices with patient care. Mary Elizabeth has certifications in CDA, Radiology, and Nitrous, and brings with her an unmatched knowledge in her new role at TMC.

While working as a CDA, she assisted doctors in various dental procedures, ensuring precision and patient comfort while maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment. Her competence in OSHA standards reinforces her commitment to maintaining safety practices and compliance within healthcare and dental fields. Additionally, Mary Elizabeth is a qualified trainer and has played a critical role in the oversight and training of staff in lab procedures. TMC is ecstatic to have her a part of the team!

Alisha DeBetta is TMC’s newest member of the Client Services Team. She started her career in the nursing field and then ventured to the skies as a flight attendant before returning to the medical field. This is where Alisha developed her knowledge of healthcare regulations in both HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Coming from a big Italian family, Alisha’s heart is in her home with her husband and three children. She finds joy in baking and gardening. She is looking forward to embracing this new opportunity with TMC and we are so happy to welcome her!

Becky leverages over twenty years of diverse experience across manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, civil service, and education sectors, embodying a wealth of expertise as a seasoned health and safety professional. She earned her Bachelors in Sports Medicine from Marywood University in 2004 and completed her graduate degree at California University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Currently serving as TMC’s Senior OSHA Compliance Specialist, Becky is deeply committed to maintaining rigorous regulatory standards and fostering safe, productive work environments.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children in Central Maine.
