Karen Gregory joins Aftermath Services on the Discovery Channel for an episode of Innovations with Ed Begley, Jr.. Innovations is a television show that brings viewers the most current information of leading industries out there making a difference. One of these leaders is Aftermath Services LLC. Aftermath is the premier, nation-wide crime scene clean up and biohazard remediation company. They deal with crime scene cleanup, biohazard cleanup, death cleanup or blood spill cleanup.

Since 1996, Aftermath has provided professional and compassionate services to families and employers who are dealing with the death of a friend or loved one due to suicide, homicide or industrial accidents. Their highly trained and caring field technicians are experienced in all the protocols necessary to return your home or business to a safe and livable condition.

Total Medical Compliance teamed up with Aftermath to speak about infection control and how important it is to keep your employees safe and the public. Karen spoke about exposure events with communicable disease cleanup, blood cleanup, and other biohazard cleaning. She was joined by Aftermath’s Legal and Compliance Representative Laura McGowan who talked about biohazards from a legal/compliance standpoint. Karen speaks to many audiances about infection control providing information and training. She has over 20 years’ of experience working in the outpatient environment, both at the front line delivering patient care and in the management arena. She is passionate about both employee and patient safety, and in this case keeping workers safe in this crime scene cleanup process.

Karen is currently the Director of Compliance and Education for Total Medical Compliance where she develops compliance materials in addition to training consultants, as well as clients. She is a frequent speaker for professional organizations and at conferences nationwide on OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control. Karen has been selected as a Hu-Friedy Key Opinion Leader, is on the Editorial Review Board for the OSAP publication Infection Control in Practice and serves on the Board of Directors for OSAP.
